Name the Puppy contest
Every year the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre (PDSTC) in Innisfail, Alberta, holds a contest for children in Canada to help find names for future police dogs. The 13 winners come from every province and territory.
The 2026 RCMP Name the Puppy Contest is now open until March 26, 2026. A new letter is selected each year to start the names. This year we are looking for the best names that start with the letter "B".
All contest entries must be submitted using the online form.
Enter the contestContest winners and the winning puppy names will be announced in late April.
