Beauval RCMP asking public to report sightings of Ethan Gauthier and Preston Durocher

Beauval RCMP are asking for the public to report all sightings and information on the whereabouts of Ethan Gauthier and Preston Durocher, who have been charged in relation to a robbery investigation.

Investigation determined that on October 9, around 3:00 a.m., a victim was approached by a group of individuals outside a residence in Jans Bay. The victim was assaulted and their vehicle was stolen. The suspects fled.

The victim reported non-life-threatening injuries to police.

As a result of investigation, on October 10, Beauval RCMP attended a residence in Jans Bay and located the stolen vehicle. One individual was arrested. Another individual at the property, who was carrying two firearms, fled from police. They searched the area for him with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services and a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System. He was not located.

Following a search of the vehicle, officers seized approximately 30 grams of cocaine and a large sum of cash.

As a result of continued investigation, 25-year-old Madison Roy of Beauval, SK is charged with:

• one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• two counts, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, operate a conveyance while prohibited, Section 320.18(1)(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, robbery with a weapon, Section 344(1)(b), Criminal Code; and
• one count, assault causing bodily harm, Section 267(b), Criminal Code.

Madison Roy is scheduled to appear in court in Beauval on October 21, 2026.

23-year-old Ethan Gauthier from Beauval, SK is charged with:

• one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• two counts, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm, Section 92(2), Criminal Code;
• two counts, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code;
• two counts, weapons possession contrary to order, Section 117.01, Criminal Code;
• one count, resist arrest, Section 129(1), Criminal Code; and
• two counts, fail to comply with probation order, Section 733.01(1), Criminal Code.

20-year-old Preston Durocher from Beauval, SK is charged with: 

• one count, robbery with a weapon, Section 344(1)(b), Criminal Code; and
• one count, assault causing bodily harm, Section 267(b), Criminal Code.

Beauval RCMP continue to search for Ethan Gauthier and Preston Durocher and are asking the public to report sightings and information on their whereabouts.

Ethan Gauthier is described as:

• Height: 5 ft 6 in 
• Weight: 130 lbs
• Eye colour: brown
• Hair colour and style: short, brown

Ethan Gauthier is known to travel around the Beauval, SK area, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Preston Durocher is described as:

• Height: 5 ft 6 in 
• Weight: 141 lbs
• Eye colour: brown
• Hair colour and style: short, brown

Preston Durocher is known to travel to the following areas:

• Beauval, SK
• Prince Albert, SK

Beauval RCMP continue to investigate.
