Last week, members of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit, Tactical Support Team and RCMP’s Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Team (SERT) assisted the Ontario Provincial Police in an investigation that resulted in the arrest of two Arnprior, Ontario residents in connection with a death investigation.
In late September, the Ontario Provincial Police contacted Saskatchewan RCMP and the Regina Police Service with information that two suspects wanted in connection with a death investigation that had occurred in Ontario were believed to be travelling towards Saskatchewan. In collaboration with the Winnipeg Police Service, Saskatchewan RCMP’s SERT located the suspects as they entered Saskatchewan from Manitoba.
On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Saskatchewan RCMP’s SERT notified the Regina Police Service that the suspects were at a residence in the 3100 block of Copeland Road in Regina. Members of the Regina Police Service Tactical Support Team, Major Crimes Unit, Crisis Negotiation, Critical Incident Command and Patrol safely took both individuals into custody.
As a result of this investigation, 37 year-old Lindsay DOLAN and 33 year-old Dylan ZOOBKOFF of Arnprior, Ontario were charged by the Ontario Provincial Police with:
- Second Degree Murder [CC 235(1)]; and
- Indignity to a Dead Body [CC 182(b)].
Both were transported to Ontario and made their first appearance on these charges in Ontario Court of Justice on Friday, October 2, 2026.
This investigation highlights the role of collaboration between police services across Canada in supporting major criminal investigations.
