RCMP charges Pictou woman for trafficking cocaine

The Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) has charged a Pictou woman for trafficking cocaine.
Through an ongoing investigation, PCISCEU learned that a woman was trafficking the drug throughout the region.
On October 6, officers observed the woman travelling along Hwy. 104 near Salt Springs. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a search of her vehicle resulted in the seizure of 14 grams of cocaine, 37 grams of crack cocaine, and a quantity of cash.
Bonita Roxanne Bellows, 47, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
She was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on January 11.
The investigation was supported by the Codiac RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and the Pictou County District RCMP.
