The Southwest Nova RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SWN SCEU) has charged four people for drug trafficking after executing search warrants in Middleton.
On June 19 and 20, SWN SCEU, with assistance from Annapolis District RCMP, executed search warrants at a home and a vehicle located on the property on North St. as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Officers safely arrested four people inside the residence and seized a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and a shotgun during the searches.
Justin Drew Oickle, 34, of Middleton, Lisa Dawn Trimper, 41, of Harbourville; Garnett William Robinson, 40, of Meteghan River; and Kristen Doucette, 40, of Middleton, have each been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine)
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Careless Use of Firearm
- Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Laundering Proceeds of Crime
Robinson has also been charged with Possession Contrary to Order and Failure to Comply with Order.
Oickle, Trimper, Robinson and Doucette were released and are scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court on August 24.
