Missing 16-year-old girl

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Moncton, N.B.

Madeleine Welner was last seen on August 21, 2026, at approximately 6:10 p.m., near Augusta Terrace, in Moncton. She was reported missing to police on the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Madeleine Welner is described as being approximately five feet two inches (157 centimetres) tall, and weighing approximately 116 pounds (53 kilograms). She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie, light grey pants, a white shirt, white shoes and sunglasses.
