RCMP seeking the public's help following hit and run

The Shediac RCMP is seeking the public's help to identify the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run incident in Shediac, N.B.

The hit and run occurred on May 11, 2026, at approximately 8:43 a.m., at the intersection of Inglis Street and Main Street, in Shediac. A car that was involved, a blue Chevrolet Equinox, struck another vehicle and fled the scene prior to police arrival. One individual was transported to hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries. 

Police have since located the vehicle involved, however, are attempting to identify the driver at the time of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
