The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help following an assault in Moncton, N.B.

On May 14, 2026, at approximately11:30 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP received a report than an assault had occurred on Dominion Street, in Moncton.  

When police arrived at the scene, it was learned that a man was assaulted by three individuals who had since left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The man suffered what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

At the time of the incident, the first individual, described as a man, was wearing green cargo pants and red and white shoes. The second individual, described as a man, was wearing jeans and black and white shoes. A description of the third individual is currently not available. 

As part of the ongoing investigation, police are interested in speaking with anyone living in the surrounding areas and who have outdoor surveillance cameras to check their recordings for any suspicious activity between 11 a.m. and noon on May 14, 2026. Police are also asking anyone who was driving through the area during those hours and has dash-cam footage to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. 

The investigation is ongoing.
