On Oct. 29, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Spruce Plains RCMP responded to a report of an attempted home invasion occurring in Rapid City.

Officers said two suspects came to the residence and began banging and kicking on the door. The resident, who knew one of the suspects, did not let them in and went upstairs. A window was then smashed and a suspect tried to get inside. The suspects then fled.

RCMP identified one of the suspects as being a male who had a warrant of arrest for failing to attend court.

Anthony Worth, 21, of Rapid City is charged with:

• Break and enter with intent; and
• Mischief under $5,000.

He was released by the courts on a release order.

The investigation continues.
