Stonewall RCMP arrest male after call of suspicious vehicle

On August 21, 2026, at approximately 4:30 am., Stonewall RCMP were notified about a suspicious vehicle sitting on Highway 236, near Balmoral School.
Officers started patrols in the area and located a truck parked on the shoulder of Highway 236, with the engine still running.
Police approached the vehicle and located a male asleep inside. Officers also observed open alcohol in plain view.
The driver was asked to provide a breath sample on an Approved Screening Device, to which he agreed and failed.
The 34-year-old male from Teulon, had his license seized, his vehicle impounded and is facing a charge of impaired driving.
