Lac du Bonnet RCMP respond to fatal motorcycle collision

On July 1, 2026, at 6:30 am, Lac du Bonnet RCMP responded to a fatal motorcycle collision on Highway 11 in the RM of Whitemouth.
A motorcycle driver, a 58-year-old male from the RM of Whitemouth, had not returned home the previous day and was reported missing to the Lac du Bonnet RCMP.
Officers, along with family members, made extensive patrols in the area overnight but he was not located. The motorcycle and its driver were later located by a family member the next morning.
The motorcycle was in the ditch off Highway 11, approximately 10 miles north of Whitemouth. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene.
Lac du Bonnet RCMP, along with Manitoba RCMP Traffic Services, continue to investigate.
