On June 18, just after midnight, RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious male searching properties and vehicles with a flashlight near 8th Avenue Northeast, in Dauphin.
Upon arrival at the scene, RCMP located a suspect a short distance away in the back lane, using a flashlight to look around. Officers stopped the male and learned he was bound by a release order with a curfew attached to a residence in Ebb and Flow First Nation.
The suspect was arrested without incident.
Alfred Beaulieu, 36, of Ebb and Flow First Nation is charged with failure to comply with a release order. Beaulieu was previously arrested by Dauphin RCMP on June 2 in connection with a theft and on June 4 for mischief following an incident in the Dauphin railyard.
He was held in custody ahead of a Thursday court appearance.
