Prince George RCMP has arrested one youth in relation to multiple break-and-enter investigations at the same location.

The investigations began on October 6, 2026, when a pub on the 200-block of Cherry Avenue reported the alarm was triggered at 2:30 a.m. Investigators saw that a door to the business had been broken open and that the suspects had entered the building.

The second break-in attempt occurred just two nights later, on October 8, 2026.

Just one week later, at 1:00 a.m. on October 15, 2026, police officers were on patrol in the neighbourhood when they observed the exterior lights activate at this same location. On police arrival, three youth were located behind the pub; two of the three youth fled the area, while one remained behind.

After reviewing the CCTV footage from the previous investigations, police officers were able to determine this youth was likely involved in the incidents at this location. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Prince George RCMP detachment.

The youth was later released to his guardian, with a future court date.

“This arrest is the result of an extraordinary amount of work by our officers throughout the course of this investigation. Cases like this highlight the dedication, perseverance, and diligence our police officers bring to their work each day to help keep the Prince George community safe,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, BC RCMP Spokesperson for Northern B.C.

Investigators are asking if anyone knows the identity of the other youth who were seen fleeing the area on October 15, or if anyone has information relating to these investigations, that they contact the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line or make an anonymous report to Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers.
